<p> DIED. MIECZYSLAW HORSZOWSKI, 100, classical pianist; in Philadelphia.
The Polish-born Horszowski was famous as a child piano prodigy
and played the Bach Inventions from memory at age five. Ninety-five
years later, he was still giving superb perform ances. During
his career Horszowski was perhaps the least celebrated great
pianist living; nevertheless, his cultish following was ardent.
